Michael Jackson received 13 Grammy Awards. He received 8 on one night in 1984. 2 of his solo albums were accepted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. On November 2006, World Music Awards annouced that Michael sold 750 million units worldwide. People often called him the King of Pop or MJ. Jackson lived on the Neverland Ranch Property where built an amusement park and a private zoo.

He was born in Gary, Indiana, USA on August 29, 1958. Michael grew up in a working-class family.He was the second youngest of 7 brothers. His father was a steel mill employee who performed in the band R&B called "The Falcon." The father was very strict. He would whip his kids if they misbehaved.

Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Preslye, in 1994. They divorced 2 years later. his secong wife was Debbie Rowe. They too divorced because Debbie knew that he had affairs with his old wife, Marie presley. On November 14, 1996, Jackson married his dermatologist's nurse, Deborah Jeanne Rowe where he had a son. he named him, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. he also got a daughter and named her Paris Katherine Jackson.
The 2 divorced in 1999 but Jackson wanted to keep the kids as a "gift." Jackson thirs son, Prince Michael Jackson was born in 2002.

Susan B. Anthony was born on Febuary 15, 1820 in Adams Masschusetts. She was the second born from 8 children. her father was a strict man who didn't let her or the other children play with toys, games and music. In 1826, she moved from Massachusetts to Battensville, N.Y. where she attended a school. The teacher refused to teach her long division so, Anthony was home school. She taught for 15 years and then wanted to be part of the temprerance.

The Temparence was when women and children suffered because their husband became acoholic. Because she was a woman, she was not allowed to speak in the temperance. In 1849, Susan gave a speech about the "Daughters of Temparence." In 1851, she went to Syracuse to attend the antislavery meetings. There, she meet Elizabeth Cady Stanton and they both became friends.


Anthony demanded that woman deserved the same rights as men. In 1869, she and her friend Elizabeth Cady Stanton founded the National Woman's Suffrage Association. They worked together for 50 years. She published "The Revolution" from 1868-1870. She died on March 13, 1906 at Rochester, New York from pneumonia and heart failure. Her final words were " Failure is impossible."
